Cash only. $1.75 per donut. Got a glazed donut to try. I've been trying almost all the glazed donuts in the area. I give this glazed donut at 7.5/10 Good glaze. Fresh. Tad airy, could be airier. Chewy but not too chewy. Slightly stronger yeast flavor than most donuts.
Cute neighborhood bakery. Donuts are delicious!! Highly recommend the powdered cream! Service was great! Go to donut spot!

So, my dad talks about having a pound cake for his birthday bottom of the 9th! No time to make the brief pilgrimage to Stock's in Philly (some places sell the "bricks" but don't have any birthday cakes) for a birthday cake - THE BEST POUND CAKE EV-ER!!!!! - with my schedule, so I reached out to a Facebook food group for suggestions. Pisker's came up more than a few times. Who knew?! I worked in Westville eons ago and recalled getting some yummy cakes from there - sold! The (4 lb) pound cake was incredible! Dense, moist, and really good buttercream! They are cash only. I love that they're open until 6:30 pm! Im so happy that we were reunited! Ill be stopping again!
Piskers Bakery in Westville has been around for 86+ years and has superior baked goods likes rolls, pies, donuts, pasteries, etc. They do only take cash, however.
This cake was sooooo moist with a delicious raspberry middle. We enjoyed this birthday cake immensely. Great job once again Pisker's.
First it is important to note: CASH ONLY. I was looking for a quick breakfast on the go before work and stumbled on this bakery. Located on the corner across from a park. The bakery it is not part of a larger business district and will be easy to miss. Once inside you are hit with options that are many. I almost grabbed a pound of cookies for breakfast but settled on their fresh doughnuts. They were absolutely fresh and were a joy to the tastebuds I was sad when they were gone. This is a classic bakery in all aspects. It doesn't need to get gimmicky experimenting with flavors to entice customers to come back. The food is probably done with recipes that have been handed down over the decades. The product just feels and tastes full of history and comfort like family member.
I've been going here for years (though not often). After moving back to the area, I wanted a tea biscuit--they don't make them elsewhere like they do in the Delaware Valley. Brought my husband and we got donuts and tea biscuits. The tea biscuits were a lot like I remembered them--though maybe a bit sweeter. We got donuts too. They keep it simple here. When my husband asked if they had maple-glazed donuts, he was told, "We don't do that." If you're looking for a bakery that reminds you of your childhood, Pisker's has you covered.
I heard great things about this bakery so I wanted to try it out. Bought donuts twice so far and they were delicious. I want to also try their cakes and see what else they have to offer. Staff is very friendly. You can call ahead and pre order your donuts and they will have them ready and waiting Can't wait to try out their birthday cakes as Well.

Pisker's has the best cream donut in South Jersey. My grandfather used to love this place and now I know why! Only small negative is that its cash only, but the high product quality is worth the minor inconvenience of remembering to bring cash.
